A negotiated contract (or procurement) allows the government to select a contractor without a formal price competition. However, it has a set of rules one must follow and only certain contract types can be used such as fixed price, incentive or cost-reimbursement.
In this session learn how these types of contracts can be both a challenge and an opportunity for contractors. Specifically, we will address the following:
- Forward Pricing Rates
- Truthful Cost or Pricing Data
- Exemptions to Truthful Cost or Pricing Data
- Bases of Estimates
- Profit (Fee) Determination
