This is session 1 of 3 in the Tackling Tough Accounting and Pricing Issues series.

We’ll kick off this web series with an overview of common cost accounting and pricing issues and preview the 3 that the web series with delve into in greater detail starting with the meaningfulness of contract multipliers and wrap rates.

We all do it -- compare contractor “multiplier” averages or “wrap rates” to industry norms, our competitors, and customer expectations. But is the information this analysis yields meaningful? How reliable is this data? How do we use the information in our capture and contract evaluation?

In this session we knockout the meaningfulness of multipliers. Explaining the concept, illustrating how it is calculated, addressing common distinctions, and helping attendees better understand the comparative value and sometimes futility of multipliers and wrap rates.
