Hear from leading international law and China experts on the latest development of the US-China trade war, how the trade war is affecting the global trade and American businesses, and how to manage these changes and mitigate the uncertainty in international business. This seminar will also provide an opportunity for a discussion on the broader topic of U.S.- China relations: past, present, and future.

The US-China trade war may endanger the multilateral order in global trade based on multilateral agreements, and the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the GATT, and the WTO, and return us to a system partly based on bilateral agreements. This change will have profound implications for international business.

The webinar will also address the uneven distribution of the effects of the trade war on particular sectors of the economy, China's continued evolution in the global economy and the current business and political environment, and how American business can protect its intellectual property rights in China.
