Cost Accounting Standards are complex and difficult to read and understand. Companies are often confused by how and when CAS is triggered, what requirements apply and what the broader impact is on their businesses.

This webinar simplifies the complexities of CAS with accessible easy to understand explanations of some of the requirements illustrated by practical examples. This webinar will introduce CAS requirements, applicability, and the fundamentals of CAS including the consistency and allocation standards.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Participants attending this session will be able to identify contract CAS clauses and how to determine whether these clauses were triggered by the contract award. Participants will understand the CAS exemptions and explain the different levels of CAS coverage and when a CAS Disclosure Statement is required. Finally, participants will have an introductory grasp on the consistency and allocation standards contained in CAS requirements.
