This is session 2 of 3 in The Future of CAS Series 2025

Our CAS modernization discussion begins with the Administration’s aim to decouple CAS from the TINA threshold, raise trigger thresholds in contracts, address long-used contract types (e.g., hybrid, indefinite delivery vehicles) that are not specifically identified in the CAS regulations, and address multiple simultaneous changes to cost accounting practices.  Some of these recommendations were first proposed during the first Trump Administration, and others by a bipartisan congressional blue-ribbon panel.  Each topic is included in the 2025 CASB Board agenda.
