Government Contractor DCAA Timekeeping Compliance and Best Practices
As a government contractor when it comes to timekeeping, it's incredibly important to ensure you meet DCAA requirements. When you win a government contract, the DCAA's time tracking rules apply to everyone in your company. The DCAA's primary concern is preventing fraud and waste in the labor charging function. Checks and balances must be put into place to minimize risk to the government and taxpayers. It is critical that government contractors have the proper procedures and controls in place for labor compliance, and that documentation and training is provided to employees so that they understand and recognize their responsibilities in accurately recording time charges. Join our guest Dave Sample, Vice President of Product Marketing at JAMIS Software Corporation, for a discussion on how federal contractors can go about meeting regulatory requirements and expectations related to timekeeping and labor reporting. In addition, Mr. Sample will provide a live demonstration of how modern timesheet systems like JAMIS Prime Timesheets equip government contractors with streamlined solutions for success and efficiency. Learning Objectives: By the end of this course, participants will learn the basics of regulatory requirements and expectations related to timekeeping and labor reporting, and will be provided with examples of some of the advantages of modern, cloud-based timesheet systems in achieving success.

How to Prepare for your Incurred Cost Submission (ICS)
The Allowable Cost and Payment clause (FAR 52.216-7) requires contractors with cost-reimbursement contracts or time-and-materials contracts (other than a contract for a commercial item) to submit an adequate final incurred cost proposal within six months after the end of their fiscal year. In submitting an incurred cost proposal, it is important to provide accurate supporting schedules as well as a signed "Certificate of Indirect Costs." Failing to provide an adequate submission by the due date can result in DCAA recommending to the Contracting Officer a unilateral determination on the contractor's final indirect cost rates. Learning objectives of this webinar include: What is an ICS? How do I prepare for an ICS? How is the ICS evaluated? How do I prepare for an ICS audit?
