Overview

New Course on Advanced Cost Reimbursement Contracting

This advanced-level course is designed for contracting professionals with more than just basic knowledge of Cost Reimbursement Contracts.  If you either have a few years of experience in managing this contract or have recently completed the “Basics of Cost Reimbursement Contracting” Course, you will benefit from this program immensely.

This course will start with a review of cost-reimbursement contract types to level set the class. We will dive into evaluating proposals and conducting negotiations and awards. Part of the course will focus on the negotiation of cost and fees based on analytical techniques as well as documentation. Discussion of other areas includes indirect rate life cycle, disputes, audits, and remedies. Finally, the program will wrap up with a discussion on other considerations and the current environment.

Who should attend:
Contractors, sub-contractors, and anyone wanting more information and insights into cost-reimbursement type contracts.  This would include employees and stakeholders in the pre-award and post-award job function areas of contract administration, finance, accounting, planning, and program management, legal, and leadership.
