Overview

The shift in federal government funding priorities coupled with continued focus on accountability and outcomes has changed the federal grant and cooperative agreement landscape -- in terms of pursuit, execution and risk management.

This advanced course is designed to facilitate a strategic conversation among faculty from Wiley Rein and PwC and each course participant. Whether you are a longstanding recipient of awards or seeking to pivot into this source of funds for the first time, it's imperative to carefully evaluate (or re-evaluate!) your current strategy given the changes enacted by the administration.

Through the use of case studies and actual examples, this course bridges the gap between the text of regulations and budget pronouncements and real-life application. The course will deep-dive into:

· Methods for assessing pursuit strategy in light of changing funding priorities

· Considerations for pivoting into "hot" sectors

· Infrastructure needed for execution

Defense Acquisition Workforce members must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every two years from the date of entry into the acquisition workforce for as long as the member remains in an acquisition position per DoD Instruction 5000.66.
