Phil Susmann, is President of Norwich University Applied Research Institutes, NUARI.  He has been at Norwich for 30 years as a faculty member, academic leader, Chief Information Officer, and currently serves in the dual roles as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Norwich and President of NUARI.  NUARI is responsible for the development of the DECIDE platform, a distributed cyber security exercise platform focusing on business operations and processes.  DECIDE has been used by the financial sector to deliver the Quantum Dawn series of exercises with more than 600 simultaneous participants from 80 organizations.  NUARI is also a member of the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium developing cybersecurity training for state and local first responders.
