Several recent Executive Orders from the Trump Administration, most notably Executive Order 14275, “Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement” are fundamentally reshaping the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) landscape.

Known as the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this initiative, led by the OFPP and the FAR Council, aims to return the FAR to its statutory foundation by eliminating many non-statutory requirements.
