Mr. Vander Lugt is an attorney with experience in the application of international trade, government procurement and national security law and regulation (including AECA, ITAR, EAR, FAR, DFAR, NISPOM, CFIUS process, OFAC and customs regulations), intelligence analysis, governance, and a specialization in building and managing business processes for compliance with those regulations.

Little, Roghwell & Vander Lugt practice focuses on international trade controls and government contracts. Trade practice includes export controls, DoD technology transfer processes and controls, customs compliance, sanctions and boycotts. Government contracting experience includes claims, bid protest and counseling related to procurement, security clearances and controls, as well as technology release processes.

Rob focuses his practice on export controls and government contracts. Rob conducts internal
corporate investigations and audits, drafts compliance plans, and counsels clients through
all stages of involvement in complex export transactions, from mandatory registrations,
technology release issues, and strategies for licenses and Commodity Jurisdiction
Determinations and Commodity Classification Requests, to preparation and submission of
voluntary disclosures.

His representation includes: investigations and voluntary disclosures for public and private
companies; advising on license strategies; compliance reviews; and development of internal
control and compliance plans for export controls and international transactions involving the
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations
(EAR), and sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
