The 8th Annual EVM Practitioners' Forum is organized by EVM application users to share best practices and help others become more effective in their use of EVM tools, analysis, and reporting. More than 90% of the 2017 post symposium survey responses rated it as 'excellent' or 'very good', and that it provided a great deal of value to their job or organization.

Dave Scott is a Managing Director and Leader of BDO’s Program Optimization and Project Controls Solutions practice. He has more than 25 years of experience working with both government and commercial customers in the implementation of systems and methodologies to improve management processes. Dave has extensive experience designing, implementing and supporting compliant Earned Value Management  Systems (EVMSs) for both the U.S. government and government contractors. In addition, Dave has provided EVMS assurance services supporting government contractor EVMS compliance with the American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance (ANSI/EIA) 748 standard. He provides a unique perspective gained through his work supporting federal agency and Department of Defense (DOD) programs for the surveillance of contractor EVM reporting and EVMSs.

Defense Acquisition Workforce members must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every two years from the date of entry into the acquisition workforce for as long as the member remains in an acquisition position per DoD Instruction 5000.66. We will provide you with documentation of points awarded for completing the event.

States have widely varying regulations regarding MCLE credit.
