“Question Everything.”
This quote, attributed to Socrates, encourages us to ask questions in this course. Asking questions will sharpen our awareness of AI's potential benefits to us and to our organizations. Questions can lead us to better answers to the local and global issues that we face as world citizens. Questions and answers will also help us focus on the vulnerabilities that we may face in working with AI.
The course starts with guidance from the federal government for us. The President’s Executive Order is both comprehensive and prescriptive.
This is followed by the progress made by the administration since the order's signing.
The course continues on the first day, covering the EU’s (European Union’s) new legislation on AI. The legislation describes a risk management approach to AI that is a clear pathway to follow toward successfully implementing AI in an ethical AI environment.
This live virtual course is eligible for both CLE and CPE credit.
NOTE: CPE/CLE credit for attendees are subject to participation and approval by the governing boards.
