 DR. KENNETH MITCHELL, PRINCIPAL/CEO

Dr. Kenneth Mitchell is a Certified MBTI Master Facilitator and a Board Certified Coach. Dr. Mitchell has a bachelor’s degree in economics (Lincoln University), an MBA in management (Lincoln University), and has earned a doctorate of applied management in organizational development (Webster University). He has completed postdoctoral study in survey research design (University of Michigan), and has studied at The Institute for Coaching (Harvard University) as well as extensive study in psychometric instruments.  

Coach Mitchell is a member of the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) and manages both a youth development nonprofit organization (The Renaissance Education Group, Inc.) and a training and coaching practice (Coach Praxis). Dr. Mitchell has managed federal grant programs in excess of $10.8 million, and serves as the Project Director for 
The Renaissance TRIO Training Project, which provides training for over 2,831 grantees funded through the US Department of Education in college access and college support, in addition to managing a portfolio of programs funded through the Office of Student Services including Upward Bound and Talent Search.
