Federal Grant Compliance Under the OMB Grant Reform

How the New Regulations Will Impact Federal Awarding Agencies, Recipients and Sub-recipients Throughout the Grant Lifecycle

OMB has rescinded 8 OMB Circulars governing federal grants and cooperative agreements and published a single Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements that goes into effect for awards made in 2015.  It is 700-plus pages and will alter the way federal agencies, grant recipients and subrecipients administer and audit federal grants for awards.  Hear about what has changed and what has stayed the same.  Be sure that as federal awarding agency or a non-federal entity that receives federal grants and cooperative agreements you know what policies and procedures need to be revised, deleted, or created.

·         Discover the Pre Award requirements:  new risk assessments, certifications, disclosures, conflicts of interest, and how these requirements will likely increase federal false claim investigations

·         Learn about Fixed Amount Awards and Subawards and how they can streamline grants management

·         Know the changes regarding indirect cost rates so you understand the new options

·         See what is new about grantee procurement procedures

·         Find out about the requirements for subrecipient management by pass-through entities

·         Find out about the audit changes that will affect you in the federal agency and the major changes for prime recipients that are pass-through entities

This course is designed for both new and experienced grant recipients. There are no prerequisites for this course other than your own experience.

We look forward to your participation.
