The 3rd Annual Cybersecurity Summit for Government Contractors is a one-day, high level, broad sweep of how cybersecurity impacts the latest regulatory requirements, business risks, and technology challenges in today's government and commercial landscape. Matthew Eggers, 
Executive Director, Cybersecurity Policy,
National Security and Emergency Preparedness Department, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. leads the Chamber’s Cybersecurity Working Group, which focuses on developing and advocating the Chamber’s cyber policies before Congress, the administration, and the business community. He handles homeland and national security issues, such as cybersecurity, chemical security, and pandemics, on behalf of the Chamber’s approximately 200 National Security Task Force members. Eggers guides the Protecting America’s Cyber Networks Coalition, a partnership of 50 leading business associations representing nearly every sector of the U.S. economy, on policy development and media outreach.

Chris Furlow, President, Ridge Global. Chris Furlow develops custom risk management strategies and helps clients focus on the enterprise perspective, tying together people, processes and technologies. After the 9-11 attacks, Mr. Furlow was named Director for State Affairs in the White House Office of Homeland Security and served as policy liaison to governors on behalf of the Executive Office of the President. 



Thomas Hofmann, ‎VP of Intelligence at Flashpoint. Tom Hofmann leads the intelligence directorate that is responsible for the collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of Deep and Dark Web data. Mr. Hofmann has been at the forefront of cyber intelligence operations in the commercial, government, and military sectors, and is renowned for his ability to drive effective intelligence operations to support offensive and defensive network operations.



John McClurg, Vice President – Ambassador-At Large, Cylance John McClurg is Vice President and Ambassador-At-Large of Cylance, where he is responsible for building Security and Trust programs & operational excellence efforts. He engages the industry around the globe on the risk challenges today and how Cylance uniquely mitigates them with the application of machine learning with CylancePROTECT®. He champions a move from a historically reactive security posture to one focused on proactively predicting and mitigating future risks. He comes to Cylance from Dell where he served as its CSO.


Kurt Roemer, Chief Security Strategist, Citrix.  Kurt leads the security, compliance, risk and privacy strategies for Citrix products. An information services veteran with more than 20 years experience, his credentials include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation, he served as Commissioner for the U.S. public-sector CLOUD2 initiative. 




Kim Rupert, Senior VP Contracts and Pricing, SAIC and Board President, National Contract Management Association (NCMA). Kim is responsible for setting policy across the functional organization to facilitate business operations and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. She holds a masters certificate in government contracting from George Washington University and has previously served on NCMA's Executive Advisory Council and as a chapter vice president.



Michael Scheimer, Attorney, Hogan Lovells US LLP. Mike is a member of the firm’s Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services (ADG) industry group. His practice focuses on government contract matters involving national security, cybersecurity, and IT contracting. Mike has vast experience handling government contract cybersecurity issues, including comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing issues, data breach reporting, information sharing programs, and government information system security accreditation processes.



Pamela Walker, Senior Director for Federal Public Sector Technology, ITI. Pamela Walker serves as Senior Director for Federal Public Sector Technology at the Information Technology Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of Information Technology Industry Council (ITI). She is responsible for the federal government technologies portfolio and is also a member of ITI’s cybersecurity team.

Business Risk Mitigation and Strategic Planning for a Cyber Event
Our Final Session concludes with understanding the business risks, planning and a review of emerging technologies designed to assist in implementing a strategic plan.  This session includes business risk and analysis technologies and will provide practical approach to strategically planning, for cyber incidents. Norwich University Applied Research Institute (NUARI) will show how to implement a practical exercise to implement a cyber security plan.
