The place to start. This classic course covers how to create and maintain a compliance program. It is a primer on how to set up and audit your own procedures, an opportunity to provide training to your employees, and a comprehensive outline of contracting requirements. All employees will receive a copy of the latest edition of the Government Contract Compliance Handbook.

DCAA Contractor Business Systems and Internal Controls
This course covers recommended approaches to achieving, maintaining, and documenting internal business system controls and behaviors to comply with Government contract requirements, as well as sound business practices.
Track Two
Accounting Compliance for Government Contractors
Explains the government procurement regulatory requirements that affect a government contractor’s accounting system with an emphasis on cost accounting by contract. The components of an adequate and acceptable contract cost accounting system are outlined also.
Track Three
Introduction to Government Construction Contracting
Solid guidance on the contracting cycle from types of contracts through bidding and performance to changes and contract completion. Coverage includes new stimulus plan construction contract requirements and the new compliance and mandatory disclosure rules.
Track Four
High Risk Areas in GSA Schedule Contracting- Practical Strategies For Compliance Expert presenters review the revised GSA Regulations (GSAR) and GSA Manual (GSAM) during Contract Compliance Week. If you work in any capacity in schedule buying or selling, you need a detailed working knowledge of the GSAR/GSAM to provide the right rule in any commercial item or service acquisition transaction.

Track One
New Developments in Contract Compliance and Fraud Enforcement
Jam-packed with new developments that impact contractors, this course focuses on new and proposed statutes and regulations of importance to contractors. The new Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act of 2009 (FERA) is covered including changes to the False Claims Act and related implications for both prime contractors and subcontractors. The course includes analyses of the whistleblower provisions of FERA and the definition of claims and claims presentations. Pending and proposed statutes are covered also.
Track Two
Internal Controls Compliance Leading Practices
This course provides insight and practical approaches to both SOX and government contract compliance as they relate to the new Mandatory Disclosure rules in government contracting. The key control environment is analyzed for both financial reporting and contract compliance. Organizations can leverage the effectiveness of SOX certifications and controls and apply them to their own internal controls and fraud prevention programs.
Track Three
Wage and Hour Compliance
This course will teach employers how to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the major federal wage and hour law of general applicability. In addition, you will learn about four special federal wage and hour laws that apply to US government contractors as well as to many recipients of billions of dollars of new stimulus funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Advanced Issues in Multiple Award Schedule Contracting
This advanced course covers the primary high risk areas in Schedule Contracting with a special focus on compliance, audits, and risk avoidance. Detailed discussions of the Price Reductions Clause, the Industrial Funding Fee, and the Trade Agreements Act will serve to illustrate both the risks and the rewards. The course will provide practical advice on how to recognize the benefits of contracting while minimizing the risks.

The New Mandatory Disclosure Requirement
This course examines and explains the New Contractor Business Ethics Compliance Program and Disclosure Requirements rules. It includes coverage of internal control systems to detect and prevent improper conduct, codes of business ethics and conduct, mandatory disclosure obligations, and reporting violations and significant overpayments. The rule mandates that certain contractors implement comprehensive internal control systems. It is a rule of significant interest to all contractors who must include these new requirements in their compliance programs.
