A comprehensive seminar on topics of legal ethics designed for lawyers in all fields of practice and jurisdictions. Coverage includes the concept of “legal ethics” and its evolution, present legal foundation for state rule-making authorities, ABA Model Rule 1.6 on Confidentiality, a comparison of typical state rules , a comparison of the professional duty of confidentiality to the closely-related topics of the attorney client privilege and the work product doctrine, and a review exercise, which we hope will evoke a lively exchange of opinions and perspectives.

Every year, since 1972, we have offered a specially conceived, advanced program in government contracting: The Masters Institute In Government Contracting. We are pleased to once again offer the Institute–completely updated for this year’s presentations. 

The first day examines the “system” of government contracting and how it works. The second day dissects changes and equitable adjustments and includes a copy of the definitive text on changes for each participant. The third day is devoted to source selection issues and contract negotiations. The fourth day examines and explores claims and termination issues. The fifth day explains costs, critical developments in costs, and the cost accounting standards.
